Bike Service and Repair
NEW LABOR RATES EFFECTIVE February 15th, 2022
We take great pride in being a full-service bike repair shop. We offer tune-ups and adjustments for all makes and models of bikes, with the exception of department store bikes. We reserve the right to refuse working on said bikes due to their poor quality and lack of ability to hold most adjustments made on them.
That said, our services include but are not limited to the following.
Tune-ups and more in-depth repairs are done on a first-come first-served basis and we schedule the bike to be worked on the next available day. We offer the ability to hold a spot for your tune up without leaving the bike with us. If you choose this option, we ask that you bring the bike by so one of our service writers can fully assess and diagnose the bike. At this point we take a $20 non-refundable deposit (which goes towards the overall cost of the tune up) and ask that you bring the bike back to us the evening prior to your scheduled date.
Tune-up Package: $120
This service includes: airing the tires up according to the recommended pressure, adjusting the brakes, truing both wheels, making sure all nuts and bolts are tightened to spec, adjusting the shifting to operate smoothly and accurately, cleaning and lubricating the drivetrain, and lightly cleaning the bike. Additional labor is discounted.
Tune-up PLUS Package: $175
This service includes the standard Tune-up as well as removing the drivetrain for cleaning and thoroughly cleaning the bike. This labor package also waives common install fees for drivetrain parts (chain and gears), cables, and brake pads. Additional labor is discounted.
E-Bike and Tri-Bike Tune-up Package: $195
Tri Bike Tune-up includes the Tune-up PLUS package as well as thoroughly cleaning and polishing a Triathlon bike, and includes the labor to replace internally routed cables. E-Bike Tune-up includes the Tune-up PLUS package as well as running diagnostics and installing any updates for the electric system. Additional labor is discounted.
*** When you are dropping off your bike, one of our service writers will go over the bike with you and make recommendations as to what should be done, which may increase the cost of any tune-up - regardless of what level of tune-up has been discussed. ***
Packing a Bike for Shipment: $120
This service involves us disassembling your bike and packaging it above the standards by which new bikes are shipped. We also photograph the full packing process in case you need pictures for insurance. We supply the box and all packing material. You will still be responsible for purchasing the label for shipment. Payment is required when you drop off your bike.
